I'm looking to pick one of these up soon from another collector. Would be my first GS and have been waffling between the SLGA007 and 009. For those of you that have both of these, which is getting more wrist time and why? What prompts you to wear one over the other?
After a few months of wear, any other experiences to share pro or con?
Owning and wearing a lot of watches is the only way to know what you love. It's much easier to know before you buy a future watch if you're likely to love based on its size/shape/dial layout if you've owned similar ones before. So, never worry about having too many! But at some point, you do find out what you really love. My policy is: sell any watch you've had for more than a year, don't wear regularly and wouldn't pay to have serviced or replaced if was lost or broken. And sell it before it needs service so you get something out of it. (This obviously excludes anything sentimental - if the sentimental attachment is strong, keep it forever - those regrets are not worth living with). I have 8 in the 'keeper' category and 2 in the process of being sold (and other 6 or so already sold). Good luck!
