Saturday with the Superman

The green dial Yema Superman became a watch I really like to wear. It's casual enough on its Erika's Originals grey Mirage strap to be worn while sitting in a beach restaurant, and it's thin and dressy enough to easily slide under the cuff of a dress shirt at the office.

It's also a bit unusual and not seen on many wrists, which suits me just fine even if I'm the only one that notice.

Can I ask a question about the bezel lock thingy? you have to unscrew the crown in order to release the lock and rotate the bezel right? Seems like that would undermine the water resistance and be a bit of a pain in the neck. What is your experience?

Yes you are correct, to release the bezel the crown need to be unscrewed by something like half a turn or one turn - depending on how tight it was locked. About the water resistance, well my diving days are behind me but I still can't think of a time when I needed to change the bezel timing while diving so it's something that can theoretically happen but I honestly don't think it's an issue. And yes, you are also correct in assuming that releasing and screwing back the crown to rotate the bezel can be a hassle if it's done frequently, like using it as a spinner to pass the time for example. It's not an issue for me but can be for those with restless hands.
