I really love this Seiko SRPC55K1. It is one of my favorites from the Seiko 5 collection. I originally bought this because I am a huge diehard Knicks and Mets fan. So of course, I needed an orange dial in my collection. This is one of my biggest watches while the case is measured at between 44.5 - 45mm. I did not really like the bracelet because I would have to wear it too tight, due to my 7inch wrist, so I decided to put it on a black rubber strap which was a great choice in my opinion. The orange dial really stands out. It is a nice affordable sporty watch. Also can be great for your first diver if you just need a diver for swimming in the beach or the pool. Beware it is a little bulky, but it doesnโt feel cheap at all. I love the stainless steel case. The sides of the case are satin finished, which makes it very nice looking. I do wish the rotating bezel was silver but Iโm sure there are other Seiko divers that have that option, such as the monsters that do cost more money though. The watch has a water resistance of 100m/330 feet. This watch does not have a screw down crown. This watch features a hardlex crystal. The dial is slightly matte and has a metallic finish. I love the large hands on the dial that makes it easy to read. The hands of course have a generous amount of Lumibrite applied to them. The watch is equipped with the Seiko Automatic mechanical caliber 4R36. This movement is known as a workhorse as it has proven that it will continue to tick for years without needing a service. The movement is robust and durable and can handle shocks and harsh conditions. It is equipped with 24 jewels and beats with a frequency of 21600 BPH. I also love the see through back, to see itโs movement. All in all, I would give this a 8/10 if you put it on a strap rather than itโs original bracelet. What do you think?

Very nice Orange Seiko.5
Ah...my bad. I mixed the watch with another Seiko 5 with an orange dial and the Monster-ish hands setup. Sorry! ๐
Just occurred to me that today is a great occasion for an orange dial. Nice review.
There is often a debate that this model is known as either a Baby Samurai or a Baby Monster. Iโve always seen more of the Samurai design elements. Whatโs your take?
