Hello, i got this rolex some time ago, but im not sure if it is real or fake, i have searched a bit about it but im not certain and just want to make sure
Curious, I thought for Rolex 24hrs winners get a reverse Panda Daytona. Unless this was issued for past winners. I could be wrong. I can't tell if it's real or fake. Sorry.
The 1992 Rolex Daytona had tritium on the lume. The caseback on this Watch says It’s a 1992 winner and it has not the T beside the “swiss” insert. My guess is the Watch is fake.
Im no expert but links look really loose and dial marker are really badly finished unless its the picture u can just open it up or maybe check the laser insignia on the inner rim of the dial

The dial markers also seem uneven but i could be wrong nothing to lose by opening it up

Idk if it’s supposed to but it has a tiny “18k” marking on the back, its barely visible in the picture
Joking aside it's an obvious fake but I'm sure you suspected that. The Rolex Daytona, ref 116500LN with black ceramic bezel wasn't released until 2016, yet engraving on the caseback indicates "Winner" of the 1992 24hrs of Daytona race? Other obvious red flags include: the janky bracelet, the overcrowding of the 5 lines of fonts, the black subdial rings are too thick and too close to each other.

LMAO, tbh yea I suspected it was a fake but no harm in checking, and to some’s surprise, i really just “found” it sitting near a sink where i study, no one was close by, tried to search for an owner but no one came up so searched more about it and yea, brought me here

If it was real, you'd probably see the cops taking down information from a panicked Rolex owner. Whomever chose to buy and wear a fake Panda Daytona, was also obviously too embarrassed to go back and look for where they misplaced their fake Rolex. 😜

True, this photos are almost 3y old, at the time i just thought some random kid brought their dad’s watch to flex or sum and was too scared to say “i lost my dad’s watch”, at the time someone who understands of watches told me it was fake so i just put it away, found this photos and just wanted to learm more about the model and rolexes themselves, no harm in learning more about something

You got this from a Daytona 24h winner?
Either the picture quality is very bad or the watch is fake.

Dont know if that would add or belittle the authenticity

Idk if the watch is supposed to have that mark or not so yea
🤔 If you thought it was real, you'd take it in and have it authenticated
