Hi fellow nerds. Just picked up a beautiful pre loved Credor 8J82-5A10 from a Japanese seller online but unfortunately no history on the watch was giv...
Lovely watches all. I believe these are nicknamed as the "Explorients" and I love mine. Does not look out of place next to my friend's Rolex Explorer I and he honestly said "perhaps I should have just bought one of those orient stars and saved myself $10k!". Obviously the Roller is the better watch but I love my watch to pieces!

I agree 100% as I have been wearing mine daily since getting it. Very comfortable bracelet and sits well overall on my 6.6 inch wrist. Lucky that the bracelet fits exactly how I like it given credor/grand seiko clasps having no microadjust. Enjoy yours in good health!
I echo what most have already said here. A truly special brand that offers incredible value, fit and finish for what is charged. The product hits well above their weight and even compared to similarly priced big brother seikos, they are better. Really handsome watches with a very nice logo. I currently own 4 older orients (including 2 orient star explorients) and 1 modern Mako 40s. I love them all incredibly and they get plenty of wrist time along with my omega, Longines, etc. The current modern orient star models sadly are a bit lackluster for major consumption with the skeleton heart dials imho. Ultimately, lovely brand that I personally cherish.
