Freediver, watch lover, crappy watch photographer. Most post won’t be just about watches, typically how these mechanical devices make me feel and interact with the world.
Inherited some cool watches from my grandfather and wanted to learn more.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Casio f91 I thought I was James Bond
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Try as many watches as possible, don’t feel like you have to keep every watch for the rest of your life. Spend under $500 till you’ve owned 5-10 or so watches and know what you actually want not just ticking the typical collection boxes
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Anordain, Breitling, and omega
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Patek phillipe aquanaut olive dial on a black rubber strap, or a audemars piguet Royal oak offshore diver in green and gold, why? Because the idea of a haute horology diver is just wildly excessive like the rest of this hobby.
