Some old watches my grand parents keep around. What are these?
My grandparents showed me these today. The 2 little ones are gifts for my mom and aunt that they recieved for their communion. Ive never heard of the...
This Orient contemporary was my first mechanical watch. Not too expensive at 240 euros on chrono24. I like these open heart dials a lot because you can get a nice glimpse of the mechanical movement. They come in different colours too.
9F is neat. I think Quartz its arguably even better than Mechanical because of lower maintenance costs and better accuracy.
I still like Mechanical more because I appreciate the time and knowledge that goes into a Mechanical movement, but 9F is for me a better choice when dropping a bigger sum on a watch. I dont think its fair to simply shove 9F into the quartz category because they are so much better than your average miyota throwaway movement.
This Orient President. Im in love with the day complication at the top of the dial. A Day-Date Rolex is well above my paygrade so Im going to settle for this. This obviously cant tip to APs and Pateks but its a grail for me.
