Is this the real Seagull 1963
I purchased my second seagull 1963 from the Sea - Gul company. What concerns me is the price difference btw what is on Ali express is large. This is my second seagull 1963 watch and love them. But my first had serious QC issues and spend more to fix it than it’s worth. Hoping this one won’t have as many issues.

I'm planning to buy a 1963 Seagull this year. This year they released a one-size-fits-all version (I think) in 40mm. 😉
The other two Sea-Gull watches that I already have, I bought them at the official Sea-Gull store on AliExpress. Indeed the prices of 'other' 1963 watches are quite different from the official store. See the video above as Ben @OlDirtyBezel suggested. 👍

The problems with the 1963 comes from the assembly not the design (Swiss). The Chinese love to cut corners and use cheap labour with unclean work conditions. Sea-Gull does somewhat better but they draw from the same work force. Dust under the dial and too short pushers that hang up the chrono function to start with. The Swiss and the Japanese seldom put out duds the way the Chinese do.

watched its and it doesnt really make it clear cut. I noticed online there is a European online store selling these watched and they point out some noticeable difference btw fake and real. I didnt by the second watch. It was purchased by a friend in China from Sea-Gul and when it arrived at his office i said to him why did he pay so much if when you can get them on Alibaba.
