I’m truly humbled for all the comments and suggestions BUT I’m even more confused and stuck than before I started this thread😭😭
I don’t mind a Quartz, however it’s the Q word that’s holding me back as quartz is seen as cheap. But I do understand the GS is the best Quartz money can buy. Then you have a Tag whereby the movement is ETA non house. I recently returned a King Seiko Garya Bai, burgundy dial, only to return it as I felt £1400 is too much to pay for budget movement. The watch itself was beautifully crafted. I don’t want to feel robbed as I feel the movement which is the heart of the watch to be on the cheap side.
On one hand I would like a leather strapped automatic but on the other the GS which i’ve never owned seems to talk to me.
Thank you. Here in England no matter what the price, after paying import taxes, the government seems to make sure you’re hardly making any savings. Is the GS quartz worth £2k though? A lot of Youtube bloggers seem to think so.
