Personally I think the edifice line has many gems that suit your criteria. Most of which can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
You can also get some Japanese market specialities that while taking longer to get delivered would be quite special & rare. I also think the will make great summer watch due to them being quartz or solar quartz.
I think it looks quite good on the rubber straps from Farer. I got the rubber strap on mine but it is a bit small for me. I’m on the final hole on the strap.
Have you had it on a nato strap or a sail cloth strap?
Love that Farer! I’ve been looking at it for a few months now. Gonna have to wait a bit till I maybe get it as I bought a different Farer. What’s it like?
I’m guilty of wearing my watch on one wrist & my Garmin on the other. I don’t really see the Garmin as a watch, but rather a fitness accessory that just so happens to tell the time. However I either wear a shirt or long sleeved clothing on a daily basis. I don’t think I’d have the confidence to wear both in a T-shirt.
I got my first "proper" watch when I was 15 for Christmas. I was able to choose a nice but not bank breaking watch a few weeks before Christmas & I went with my stepfather to pick one. He is very into his watches & made some recommendations. They fell on deaf ears unfortunately as I had really taken a liking to a Tommy Hilfiger Chronograph. I genuinely loved it & wore it nearly every day for around a year. Until odd little gremlins started to creep in. misalignment in the hands, the date hand not working & to top it off the day hand eventually falling off. This all happened with the first year & I wish I mentioned it to my stepdad & got it sorted but it was a pretty weird time for the family, so I never mentioned it. Eventually I just stopped wearing it despite at the time really liking the look of the watch. Now it's not so much to my taste, but I still like the watch for what it was at the time. I still have it in my collection given that it is practically useless I've considered using it as my test bed to further understand the workings within a watch.I do think though if I could go back & choose again knowing what I know now I wouldn't select the same watch but that's not to say I don't still like the watch.
