Which would you choose?

Two options im considering. With the citizen going for a simular price on the secondary market.

If you would ever do green dials, the green dial conquest 38 is exquisite in person

I would highly encourage going to a boutique to see the Longines in person (as the Citizen the Citizen is quite a bit more difficult to come by). I realized that the longines sport models are just not for me due to their overly bland case design especially the side case. MAYBE the conquest will be better since it has polished sides, but my GOD was the spirit just sooooo ugly when viewed from the side. You know there is probably a reason why most of these watches are only shown in the frontal view.

As for the Citizen the Citizen, I have not seen one in person, but from all the pictures I have seen, they too have amazing case designs and finishings just like GS.

I own a Chronomaster and it has features that Longines can only dream of, starting with Duratect Titanium case that does not seem to scratch easily, and so much more.

Yeah i think they all look great from the photos. Im more interested in the blue just because my alpanist is a core piece of my collection.

The old conquests I loved until I saw in person, then hated, this conquest I was so-so until I saw in person, now obsessed

I got mine from seiyajapan.com the model number is AQ4020-54Y but there are several different versions to choose from.

I would like to give Citizen a fair chance at this one but it would be extremely difficult for me to see a The Citizen in person.

Yeah i think its a leap of faith. They now sell a limited addition online for the US market so maybe you can see one someday soon. The videos ive seen make them look way more amazing than the stock photo. But its the specs. Its the most accurate watch avalaible, solar powered, has a perpetual calander, solar power, proprietary titanuim alloy and a hour hand that works like a true GMT so you trueley need to set it once in your lifetime
