I think it started from a young age and grew as I understood them more. My dad probably had a lot to do with it.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Probably a spiderman watch for kids. But my first “real” watch was a fossil. Say what you want about fossil, but my first 2 watches were fossil and almost 10 years later they are still running strong with no repairs. Except for battery change for the quartz one.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
At the moment it has to be my tissot gentleman powermatic 80. My father gave it to me as a bachelors graduation and medschool acceptance gift.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Appreciate the art. Watches dont need to be the most expensive to be great quality.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I have to stop spending for a while. But the micro brand Brew watches has my eye
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Probably my Tissot Gentleman powermatic 80 with the green dial.
