I was happy about the dial too. I'll bet ur right about the caseback. Should be a little easier to find one that fits. It certainly seems like a solidly built watch. I have seen one more black shield for sale online, and I have really hunted. But yours, mine and that one are all that I can find. I see other dress watch black shields but no other skin divers.
I really love these vintage skin divers. As you can see the bezel on mine has seen better days. Also It needs a crown. I have no idea how to go about getting a caseback that fits. Any ideas? Would you mind sharing a few more pictures of your watch? Maybe pics of the inside and out of the caseback so I know what i'm looking for? Any help would be greatly appreciated
I have one also that I received in an old watchmakers estate lot. It is a black shield with a UTC (seiko) movement. Unfortunately mine is missing the caseback. I really want to get it running again soon. I too am curious about the brand.
