I'm in the exact same situation as you trying to find a similar gmt for the same reasons. As soon as I saw the Nodus, it was winner for me. Size, thickness, screwdown crown, color, are all perfect for travel. I put in an order already.

The size, thickness, color, screwdown crown, and obviously gmt seems to me like the perfect travel watch. The color also adds to the ruggedness. I've been looking for a gmt for a while, that I actually feel comfortable traveling with (ie. not getting mugged) that I actually like, and for me at least, this is a winner.

Personally I would never get rid of it, if I owed one. I love it and it's a classic...but not gonna lie...it does look really big on your wrist. I can see why you don't wear it. In my opinion, sell it BUT replace it with something you love. Don't just spend the cash on random stuff and have nothing to show for.
