Got this watch new way back in the eons of time. Fully automatic and I have it serviced quite regularly. It still is an excellent time keeper and only loses roughly 30secs to about 1min in a fortnight.

I prefer a old Omega to a new one. That is a great watch still giving stirling service. You must be a happy chappie.
Elegant simplicity, I bought the same watch in gold plate back in 1976 in Kuwait City when I was working in the Middle East. It still looks great keeps good time & never looks old.It was my first “real” watch when everyone else was buying digital quartz Seiko et al,they thought I was mad buying an old fashioned clockwork watch, I’ll never part with it.
I am also of an age where watches I purchased new are now considered vintage. I find that a bit annoying… 👴🏻😉

I get you. My adult children consider me vintage. I'm not. I have a decade to go until I retire early. 😂

Very happy, especially as we took it in for a service and they said after checking it over, no service required but come and see us in two years and we’ll have another look 😊

I just entered the four-year countdown to traditional retirement age.
There is a local watchmaker shop. He’s not an AD. He sells nothing but pre-owned luxury mechanical movement pieces. He’s a bit prickly but his apprentice does customer service. I’m still not sure I can spend thousands on a watch, but there’s a Constellation there that is seriously tempting me.

That's exciting and a big accomplishment Congratulations.
This is classic, a real collector with out a omega is incomplete.
