An Oldie, but a Goodie
Purchased this Seastar 660 in London in 2003. Absolute tank of a watch, it has performed flawlessly for 20 years. Love it.

Very nice. I had a Timex Micky watch as a kid, you could hear the manually wound movement from across the room!
I think it’s a couple things: the Roman numerals, the fluted bezel, and the uniqueness of the bracelet (I love it, but I think most people react negatively to designs that are a little left of the zeitgeist). Combine all 3 design elements and I think it just increases the odds that people will not love the design.
