Thanks for the insight. I know in just about every picture of him he’s wearing a Rolex but this one threw me off. The early 90’s engraved look and the space where the end link meets the case was a bit strange as well and bad photoshop definitely explains that.
I recently celebrated my 10’th annaversary as well. The wife and I got gold seiko’s. It’s beautiful to see those stunning dials and more beautiful to see a couple share life and interests. Cheers to 10 years and I wish you guys infinitely more! 🥂
I like the idea more than the execution. The chunky numerals and hour markers throw me off from what could have been a classy elegant dial. The problem is if you change that it becomes a copy of (insert whatever Tudor duplicate watch here) and looses it’s small bit of individuality. I just can’t bring myself to buy one of these when Lorier is still selling perfectly good Falcons.
Many micro brands give you the specs and/or design the big boys should at a fraction of the price. The good ones use reliable NH or Miyota movements so the only quality concern lies in the design.
