Should I continue with salmon dial or try out black dial?

Hi there, fellow WC I need your advice. I want to acquire a watch myself as a farewell present since I’m moving to NZ soon (around April/ May) I want to purchase a 28mm Tudor Royal with a salmon or black dial. As right now, the SA informed me that they only have the black dial. If I pay a deposit, I could receive the salmon dial in 1-3 months. I want to know if the black diamond free dial is suitable for any event even cocktail parties. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Black dial looks great to me and would be fine for any occasion.

Bear in mind also that black is the national colour for NZ, so it'll go down a storm when you get here 👍

Black dial is fine for any occasion. But salmon dial looks so much better. I would wait.

I appreciate the information. I totally forgot that Tudor and the NZ rugby team are partnered…

Tell me about it… as a woman, I think salmon dial to be more enticing 🥹

As a man, I would get the salmon dial. It is nice, clean, elegant look.

The salmon will look amazing.. but I agree if the occasion is moving to NZ, the black would be very fitting. Both will look great at any setting!!

Salmon is an awesome dial but you can do better for a watch (eg Rolex or Chopard). As you’re going to NZ which are the all blacks it’s a no brainer. NZ is a milestone in your life like this new watch.

Form of the watch needs a gentle color
