I feel the same sentiment the tudor bb58/ pelagos (fxd and pelagos) and now with the bb pro. The lineup is fantastic but its hard to choose. I think of all of them atm the bbpro followed by the fxd make the most sense and ill be trying to get my hands on the pro but that probably wont stop me brooding on the other models offered by tudor.

BBpro for sure........I think...... For now at least...

so far none been contemplating my next purchase for ages (will be the bb Pro) but during exam season watch related content is being consumed more than it should be

Absolutely agree, watch brands releasing desirable watches in limited quantities as they know within a few hours they will all be sold out however, one thing ive started asking myself is would i want the watch as much if it wasnt limited or better said will GS be able to sell most of them. I think the LE factor adds to the hype it hurts genuine buyers and customers but keep the brand in conversation.

I agree with the sentiment that more premium watches are what's hot rn but then again, im not a fan of these constant LE edition runs. For brands short term it offers them an oppurtunity to practice a more risky run and dont have to commit to high volumes of unsold watches since there are only a few created. But on the otherhand what tends to happen that frustrates people including myself is making a run of a watch that most certainly be popular and limiting supply causes hype and inflates the price and causes ineffecient rationing of the product (ie sells above mkt price) despite most brands not seeing this price differential from msrp to Grey prices they will with certainly sell out the moment it becomes available (moonswatch is an appropriate example.

I agree somewhat and its clear what they are going for but the question is what are the other options, with new models its pretty difficult to get this effect and buying vintage models has some downsides (desirable patinas come with a hefty price) and doesnt guarantee other factors such as time keeping general condition etc, I like the colour from faded bezels but is it worth the crazy premium not rn at least

This is a nice alternative but im not sure if i will go for it either

Haven't had the opportunity to see it in person but you aren't the only one to mention this, there have been also comments regarding the unreliability of the newton movement (time keeping and jumping second hand) plus issues with the crown makes this competitive prices tough to swallow
