This is exactly the look that got me into appreciating watches beyond the Timexes of my youth. I used to spend my lunch hours in the 70's window shopping on Bromfield street in Boston and , instead of eating ,I dreamt of having a watch like this.
Longines/Wittnauer (and many others) were my favorites, but I was on a Timex and Texas Instruments digital budget back then. I had never even realized that there were great Chinese watches at the time.
But I was young and stupid back then, and I'm not young any more.
The thin hand Diamond/Zuanshi SM1A watches are harder to find than the shorter more squarish hand models--but they do come up from time to time. The SM1A movements are very good.
