I have the same watch and I like it a lot .. my wife got me this for this past Father’s Day… I really like it … but I do have some complaints … for example I’ve now only had it for less than 6 months and the bracelet scratches so easily … I mean it’s a really nice looking bracelet but all the polishing makes scratches stand out so much.. I almost cringe every time I see one because it’s such a glaring defect against a mirror like polishing.. it’s not too obvious for me because 99% of the scratches occcur on or near the buckle where i tend to rest my hand. Also, the crown is just comically small … I really wish tissot made it just a little bit larger … it makes initial winding, time and date adjustments almost laborious … other than that maybe a small issue would be to have added a applied tissot marker on the dial rather than a printed one … alas, none of those problems would keep me from selling my PRX or recommending one to someone who was interested … how do you feel about it ?
Thank you all who responded and those who will !!! I appreciate it …No I don’t have a perpetual calendar… my watches are all sub $1000 … a couple quartz, some autos and some manual winds. I guess I’ll just save the money, sounds like you don’t really need one until I buy a Patek Philippe in my next life!! 🤞🏼Thanks again everyone
If it’s between these two I would go with the alpinist. the Murph is in my opinion overpriced. the field khaki automatic is the exact same movement, same watch witjout the cathedral hands and anti reflective coating… don’t think that’s worth $200-$300 more .. unless your a huge fan of the movie then I understand … voted for the alpinist
