New Shunbun!!!

Spring Drive is something I've been wanting since 2017. Unfortunately, back then, I was a poor college student. Could not pull off a purchase like this with a part time job. The most I could afford was maybe a $300 watch or two.

7 years later, after grinding through nursing school, working extra shifts during the pandemic, and saving up, I was able to finally purchase a beautiful watch that I don't see myself ever selling.

The sweep is mesmerizing. The finishing is out of this world. My only gripe is the lack of a larger taper on the bracelet. 21 to 17mm would be perfect.

6.25 inch wrist. I generally like 33-38mm watches, but this was an exception to the rule. It's so light at around 92 grams sized to my wrist.

I also got a free hat with my purchase without even asking.

The GS boutique had sold their one Shunbun the day before my intent to purchase. They also said they couldn't quite give me a hat until maybe later on.

So I called up a local AD that I've visited a few times before. They said they would hold it for me until I got there. And then they said yo here's a free hat, and I was so stoked.

It's beautiful. My current collection is about 25 watches and my plan is to downsize to about 6-8 watches. Well worth it.
