My wife said she thought a small seconds register looked “feminine” to her. Is that a common perspective?

I have not really heard a small seconds complication referred to as "feminine" before. My wife thinks my Sea Gull small seconds dress watch looks elegant, but not feminine.
Its a retro swiss thing that's smaller than central seconds.... she is right , they prefer big manly hands
