For nostalgic reasons, I recently picked up a W-87H-1AV that lacks a countdown timer ☹️... which I use quite often on my G-Shock and Apple Watch.

I'm wearing the W-87 today and have needed to time multiple things that I'd usually use a countdown timer for... stuff in the oven, calling work colleagues back, etc., and instead of the timer, I've used the alarm - and it's worked great 👍

Extra features like countdown timers, world time, etc. are nice, but it's debatable whether we need them. As many have said before, you don't need much more functionality than the features of the F-91W.
