How you charge your solar watches?

I put mine in a clear glass of water to prevent overheating, and put them in direct sunlight

Excessive heat will damage the battery.  If i leave my watch in direct sun even indoors, it will overheat. I've never had a watch get warm using the submerged method.  I don't like using artificial light.
