SNK 80x line is great. I have the sand, blue, and black iterations from when you could pay sixty or so for them on Amazon. Strap monsters! Highly recommend. The red dialed Amazon exclusive one is hard to come by. Straps do break in after time. The 809 with the 805 green strap looks great, classic field watch look.
I recommend a strap change. Many color options available on line. I used J&Ks adapters on my silver one and put it on a black leather strap. I would also recommend removing world time and illuminator text with alcohol and q-tips, it looks is cleaner. Lots of options to play around with and the watch was inexpensive. Have fun.
Very nice! Six to eight years ago you could get these vintage guys for a song but alas like everything else they have gone up. Great job though. I have a collection of vintage Timex watches ranging from 1956 up to 1979. There are so many variations to chose from.
Yes they look like a Rolex, but for the price it is a great value. I would buy from Amazon or another retailer in case of a QC issue. Had one for at least five years with no problem. It was a replacement from Amazon for one that had a defective crown. Once you get a good one they are solid. Great entry/beater watch.
JOMW is great. MWC also. Having been married for 33 years I find what the wife said hilarious and true. Wives can be painfully blunt! Cheap Watch Guy is up and coming and entertaining. Also enjoy Just the Watch.
