NWA - The Citizen JDM Crystal 7 or C7

The lovely update to the 1970s Crystal seven by Citizen. The watch gets it's name from the shape of the day window at 12 along with the first domestically produced model by Citizen to use Crystal glass (1968). I've added a pic to the grandfather model.

These are produced under the Record Label arm of Citizen, available in Japan only. I've seen a few different variations of the color in other parts of Asia but never this one.

This is also my first Citizen. I've admired their watches at a distance but never had the opportunity to own one. Eyeing promaster dive models to the stunning chronomasters, I've finally landed on a great introduction to the brand.

Sweet - looks great. Love the original and I would go for the reissue if it was a little smaller.

Yeah I thought 40 was a bit much but I'm kinda getting used to it. 38-39 would be the sweet spot but I really can't fault it. Having fun with it in person.
