1965 Certina Waterking hand wound

They don’t make’em like this anymore. But the more I read about vintage and modern Certina the more I think they are totally underrated

Nice but their prices are a bit high IMHO.

I paid less than 1/5 for mine.

Beautiful watch mate. I’m a big fan of Certina and was wearing one earlier today.

I’ve got a retro inspired diver and have started the search for a real vintage model.

You’re right, they are definitely underrated.

Thank's mate! I really love that little thing. By that age it could have been my Granddad's watch and it's still going strong. So tell me which model did you wear today? What PhXXXm do you own? (I really did the new black PH500m). And what vintage model are you hunting for?

Today I was wearing my DS Podium Square, but I also have a DS PH200M and a DS Action Titanium.

I’ve only just started looking at vintage watches so am open to suggestions to be honest.

The 1965 DS was one of the first watches in my collection -- I started going after Certina watches after being introduced to them in Switzerland. It was my daily wear watch for a long time -- though truthfully I haven't been giving it enough wrist time in recent years.
