CWC are pure classic! Love mine. The 83 looks great on you.

Same here. Never heard of them before. And I doubt that they actually sell any goods at all.

Will stick to my trusty suppliers CWC and CNS for sure

Thank's mate! I really love that little thing. By that age it could have been my Granddad's watch and it's still going strong. So tell me which model did you wear today? What PhXXXm do you own? (I really did the new black PH500m). And what vintage model are you hunting for?

Nice but their prices are a bit high IMHO.

I paid less than 1/5 for mine.

I think that the sale model of timefactors is not for me. I only buy watches that are available at the time of order and I won’t wait for a store to open every other month for a few hours.

I was talking Seiko, not Grand Seiko 😉

Different Marketing Budget, you know.

My point is: don’t dismiss a watch only because it does not have a nice sounding name.
btw the numbering system of Seiko back in the days was pretty ingenious:

first number = movement

second number = case version

And if someone shouts Oh what a great 6105! Every watch nut will know what it is.

They don’t make’em like this anymore. But the more I read about vintage and modern Certina the more I think they are totally underrated
