Fun comparison of my Pelagos 39 and the new FXD.
I had my Pelagos 39 on my ‘usual’ weekend Erika’s strap and walked into a local store who I was surprised to see, had the FXD in stock. While I think the new FXD is beautiful, it’s obviously to redundant with my current Pelagos, but I’m definitely intrigued with the blue FXD so I had to try it on!…
No question, the P39 fits my 6.5ish inch wrist better, but the FXD still works, especially since it’s light and not too tall.
Question is… blue FXD or pray for a blue P39…
(Btw for anyone looking for a new FXD this one is in West Hartford CT at Lux Bond, who are Suuuuper nice and where I bought my P39).

Original blue anyday,I also tried them on and the blue was my favourite
I'm very picky with size (I'm 6.00" wrist), so I'd pray everyday ... 🙏
Don’t get me wrong— the new black FXD is phenomenal.
Just a lot to have two such-similar (expensive) watches… maybe ok to do that with less expensive options… but not with these!!
The Pelagos 39 looks much much better on your wrist. I would pray …
Smaller blue FXD
What is the lug to lug on these? They look large.
I think because of the matte finishing and fully gratuated bezel, the fxd actually wears better on wrist than does the p39. Just visually imo. Can’t go wrong with either 🍻
