Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
My wife asked me to think of something I might like for Christmas from her. After some time deliberating I decided I would like a decent watch. From there I descended down the rabbit hole that is YouTube looking for some guidance on what to get, and that as they say was that!
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Swatch I bought on holiday in Italy was the first watch I can remember owning. But my first serious watch since getting into the hobby was a Seiko Flightmaster. That was flipped a couple of years ago as it wasn’t getting much wrist time.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don’t buy a new a watch until you have seen it in the flesh and had it on your wrist.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Seiko mainly. But Tudor is on my radar at the moment.
