Seiko running much more accurately now

Well it took about 12 adjustments, but I think I have this guy running within about +4 to 6 SPD. I think it will only hold this tightly with regular wear. It seems to run faster if I take it off for a day. But overall I’m happy with the result of adjusting it. (It’s very sensitive- the smallest adjustments make quite a difference.) I Love the watch. And this 2 piece, quick release nato is by far my favorite thing to wear it on.

Beautiful dial 🤩

Every collection should have an Alpinist.

Every collection should have an Alpinist.

Every collection should have a 6R35 movement.

That way every other movement you own will feel like an atomic clock in comparison.

Spb159 “baby alpinist” I found the grey a bit hard to acquire, but I’m so glad I was patient and found one. I’ve never been so happy with another watch, sub $1000. (USD)

Oh really? Sorry to hear, mine was pretty bad before I regulated it.

Luck of the draw. The 7S26 in my SXS79 keeps rediculously good time. It’s a bit of shame as the cheaper watch is the one that gets all the wrist time as a result.

Ya, that is disappointing. Seiko can be a bit inconsistent these days
