Although I own at least one of both, you can’t beat a Citizen Promaster as a GADA watch. Add to that an Eco-Drive movement, which Citizen pioneered and has perfected, and you have a very robust and reliable watch that serves well as a daily beater. I definitely wear my Promasters more often than the Seastar.
I voted for the Tissot because my “GADA” requirements are typically limited to office environments, and it seemed like the dressier of the 2 options. I have handled both watches at their ADs and find the finishing on the Tissot to be a little more refined for the price point. But go for the Citizen if you actually do sports with your watch.

I chose the citizen because both of the citizens I have are top notch watches.
