The One With The Sentimental Attachment

I am sure we all have them!

I have a few watches that have a sentlemental meaning, like the watch I bought with a collection from work colleagues when I turned 30.... Then there is the watch I bought when I reached 25 years at my work.

The most sentimental for me, well kinda joint but probably wins just, is my fairly new to me Breitling Colt Quartz Chronograph.

When my Father-In-Law passed away my wife told me that her brother's wanted to get me something as a thank you for everything I had done for their Dad. Always been there for him when maybe others hadn't and they were very grateful.

For me it could only be a watch.

When I started on my watch journey he liked Bremont, not sure why as I never really got round to asking him, but unfortunately I couldn't quite afford one that I liked the look of.

So, I had wanted a Breitling for some time. Again my budget was limited, so I managed to pick this beauty up for a bargain! It was immaculate! A real stunner that I know he would have been proud to have bought for me himself if he could!

Heres to you Roy, rest in piece and until we meet again! 🫶

Beautiful watch to a beautiful story. The legacy lives on as long as this one’s ticking.
