It's 5 O'clock Somewhere, but Zulu Time Everywhere

"Touchdown Narita, 5 GMT." - Nick Lowe, "Gai-Gin Man"

So, this arrived this morning, after a year's ruminating on my part: the Blueberry/Batman/Batgirl/let's-put-it-to-a-vote Seiko 5 Sports GMT SSK003. Like virtually everyone online has said - whether they actually liked the watch or not - photos and video clips, however high the quality, don't do justice to the thing's fit and finish. The better part of an hour's futzing to get the right fit on the bracelet and, yeah, I'm seriously jazzed with it. My wrist has withered a tad since my moto-crash a few months back, so I chose to put back a link to the bracelet plus move the pin in the clasp a notch for when I eventually bulk back up in a month or two. (I like the bracelet just enough to want to keep it, clasp and all...Seiko did just enough to make it decent.)

It’s a brilliant watch and I have the same experience with mine. I put it on and can’t believe it’s a Seiko. And yeah, it’s Batman!

A man with one watch knows what time it is. A man with two watches isn't sure.

A dude with a timegrapher, therefore, is utterly lost? (Maybe, but I like the results the app showed me here for the GMT.)
