Orient Classic vs Orient Symphony III - Review

Recently, I added two watches to my collection, both acquired from Japan, each priced under $150, including taxes. Intrigued by the positive buzz surrounding Orient watches, I decided to experience their craftsmanship firsthand. My quest for a light-colored timepiece led me to these budget-friendly options, and I must say, the value exceeded my expectations.

The Orient watches proved to be formidable contenders, holding their own against counterparts that demanded a heftier $500 investment. What struck me most was the remarkable balance between cost and quality. These timepieces not only looked but also felt as refined as their pricier counterparts.

One noteworthy aspect of Orient's offerings is the plethora of band customization options. Surprisingly, these more affordable watches outshine their expensive counterparts in this department. The attention to detail in band design and the array of choices for personalization set Orient apart in the realm of affordable watches.

The overall experience of handling and adjusting the band mimicked that of a high-end timepiece. It's the kind of tactile satisfaction one might not expect from a watch in this price range. This attention to detail in the user experience adds an extra layer of value to the Orient watches.

In essence, my initial impressions of Orient watches have been overwhelmingly positive. The cost-effectiveness coupled with the quality and thoughtful design make them a commendable addition to any watch collection. I'm impressed not only by their aesthetic appeal but also by the seamless integration of features that often rival more expensive alternatives.

As I continue to explore the world of affordable watches, Orient has set a high standard, proving that luxury doesn't always have to come with a hefty price tag. For those looking to expand their collection without breaking the bank, Orient watches are undoubtedly worth considering.

  • I liked the sizing of both, 41mm and 42mm. They both wear smaller.
  • Symphony had a wider band at 22mm vs 21mm
  • Symphony looked more "expensive" with the band option and more polished metal on the case.
  • Loved the face on the classic with deep purple / blue hands.
  • Wished the classic had the wider band.
  • Symphony III in all silver looks more feminine to me, would prob prefer the dark face.
  • Wished the classic was slightly larger.
