Norqain at the AD
Visited my favorite SA this morning and the only watches of interest were Norqain. Still waiting on the new Yachtmaster Ti to come in.. Anyhow, I like the Norqain offerings. Not sure I have space in the collection. What are your thoughts on the brand if you currently or have previously owned one? Share pictures of course!

I first noticed Norqain at a local AD back in 2019, and was really drawn to their designs. When that AD had a Norqain sale in January 2020, I ended up buying an Adventure Sport Chrono at a really good discount. I feel that they are priced a bit too high at MSRP/RPP, but when purchased with a discount can represent great value.
I had a warranty issue with the watch that required it to be returned to Norqain during the height of the pandemic, and I was surprised when they offered an additional year of warranty as an apology for the length of time that it took for the repair. That gesture made up for any delays as far as I was concerned, especially given how common pandcemic related delays were at that time.
I feel that they are an under appeciated brand. They feel very solid and well built, and keep time really well.

They have several nice looking CF models. I believe they are in the 4-6k range.

Thank you for the feedback. I've been following them for a bit and was curious about the value quotient. A discount would definitely help. What did you get if you don't mind my asking? I understand it is a different environment so that same one may not be achievable. Great customer service always helps. Yours is good looking, as are many of their models.

I was able to get a 30% discount from MSRP. Paid $3,600 CAD, when MSRP plus taxes was $5,208 CAD.
As you probably know, there is a connection to Breitling in the company ownership, and that seems to come across in the watches themselves. From my limited exposure to both brands, I'd say that quality is comparable. I feel that the discounted price I paid represented a real bargain based on the quality of the watch. The fact that the brand seems to be underappreciated means that they tend to lose a fair bit of value on the secondary market. Based on that, I'd suggest either buying pre-owned, or getting a similar discount for a new one. Best of luck - let us know if you end up getting one.
Thats a healthy discount! I didn't even think to ask as I was only casually looking today. Yes I've read about some big time connections the company has. I typically prefer to buy new so hopefully I can get 15%+ off. I do have one watch ahead of it in line right now but you never know. I'll definitely update WC with whatever is next! Thanks again!
