Start the working week with a working watch.

I've just picked this one up myself. It does everything one needs of course but I just can't decide if I like it when on. To me it seems too narrow almost in relation to it's length but that isn't reflected in your wrist shot. Looks good on you. 👍

Well, if anything I find that the standard vintage Casio look is too wide/flat, leaving a fairly small display. Way back in the early days of LCD there was no choice, but keeping that look for nostalgia's sake loses me. My remaining pet peeves with this watch are (i) the bracelet cannot be replaced, (ii) there is no countdown timer, really the only non-time-telling complication I ever use on a digital. My B640W ticks those two boxes, but it has that standard flat display.

Don't get me started on Casio straps! I definitely have a love hate relationship with them. I'm probably a heathen but on straps like the one on this watch I take my Stanley knife to them and neatly cut off the surplus. Were they designed for Gorillas? 🙂
