Original or homage?
I got myself this watch from Chinese brand Carnival/Jianianhua. Its Aliexpress listing calls it a "military watch", but I'd say it's in the family of a type-A fliegers. I was almost expecting it to be a design clone, as for that type of watch there is not much wiggle room in the design anyway, but I could not find something this was cloned from. The most noticeable quirk is that 3-day date window, which I haven't seen in other fliegers.
So, is this (within the limiting confines of the genre) actually an original? Or does somebody recognize the design from elsewhere?

They "borrow" most all their watch features to mix and match. They shoehorned a date window into a Daytona clone with a VK63 movement.
