Here, I’ve attached pics of my NEW 17mm genuine lizard strap for my Seiko tank.
I have been searching a long time for a 17mm genuine lizard strap that wasn’t cheap but wouldn’t break the bank.
I went with genuine lizard vs. the traditional croc style leather band that came with the original. I wanted something different than the standard leather offering to elevate the class and elegance of this piece. 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
Most of the straps in this genre were pricing $100 and higher. I didn’t want to spend that much. Then I stumbled upon www.strappedfortime.com based in Monroe, NC.
To my delight, not only did they have the strap I was looking for, but the price was only $60 for a great quality padded genuine lizzard band.
I don’t prefer aftermarket straps because I like to remain brand consistent. So, I had my watchmaker remove the Seiko buckle from my old strap and put it on this one. A very nice touch. 👌🏼
I absolutely love the way my tank looks even more than before. I couldn’t be happier. 😎

I was hoping you knew enough to save the buckle. I'm surprised that you don't have a spring bar tool, which is all it takes to swap band and buckle yourself in most cases.

I’d rather just be safe and have someone do it. 😬
