Vintage Timex 600ft Skindiver ref 1257-2467 - 1967

Heres a rare jewel in my collection, a 1969 skindiver rated to 180m/200ft with an all steel construction, not just the caseback as was the norm for other timex divers of the era. This is the US version rated in feet. Production ran between 1966 and 1968. Not to be confused with the later 25m calendar versions.  Ive recently put this back on its original tropic strap.

This has an m24 manual wind movement with a 24 hour power reserve, 18mm lug width and steel case construction.

if you have a 180m or a 21jewel or 17jewel  version then im looking to buy/trade

180m is 590 ft and just over 6 inches, or 600ft in marketing terms.

Are you therefore looking for more of these, because it sounds like you want to trade like for like?

Again - all three look the same with 600ft.

yes just the depth rating on the dial is different - and probably the code on the dials edge.

ive only ever seen one jewelled version - i dont know if its 21j using timex in house calibur or 17j using a german or chinese calibur as all 3 have been used in some of their eralier models like the 400 series.

i forgot to take screenshots but do know the dial code will be different as the movement is indicated on there.

So you want the extremely rare version with 180 metres written on the dial? That’s a long shot.

This is confusing. Can you draw a picture of the watch you want so we can see if we have one please?

looks identical to the above but instead of 600 feet on the dial says 180 metres

Ok, gotcha. I don't have one. Sorry.
