Any Piaget fans?

What do you guys think of the Piaget brand? Personally I really like Piaget watches, esp the Polo, but there are so many criticisms that it is trying too hard to be a PP or AP...

I really think Piaget is a misunderstood brand. It is has such a glorious history and the timepieces are so exquisite in haute horology...

And to those who throw criticisms that it is just a jewelry watch - hello, aren't all watches jewelry?

I have mad respect for Piaget too. The Polo is a cool watch in its own right; I don't think there's a need to compare it to AP, PP, or VC. So many brands offer full steel sports watches with blue dials and integrated-style bracelets, so why not Piaget, right?

And since Piaget is also an exquisite jeweler, their jewelry watches are gorgeous too. I tried this on in a boutique a while back and I love that the bezel rotates because it's just fun to turn that thing--like an ultra-expensive fidget spinner!

I like Piaget. I don’t own one, and I would never discount one if I was (ever) shopping in that price category (albeit very unlikely for the foreseeable).

You have to respect the Altiplano concepts.
