I wouldn't take a field watch into battle on that strap, but considering how many desk divers are worn on leather straps, everything is fine here'l. Actually I've been eyeing RSM's offerings, too.
Yeah....the silk is super comfortable and actually stronger than I expected. The clasp also adjusts for a perfect fit. Not cheap however. But, I would say worth it.

Really well. Soft but secure and the fit is perfect because of the clasp.
