Removing light scratches from brushed stainless steel surfaces

I'm looking for some recommendations on the best way of removing light scratches from brushed stainless steel cases and bracelets.

My watches get worn, and therefore end up acquiring some light scratches, no matter how careful I am.  For the most part, they don't bother me, but I'd prefer to be able to remove them periodically  if I can do so safely.

I've had some success with using Cape Cod polishing cloths for polished surfaces, but don't currently have anything available to deal with brushed surfaces. When searching for options for brushed surfaces, I stumbled across a suggestion for using a Bergeon 2834-C scratch pen. Before I order one, I was hoping that someone could chime in with their experience using that item, or any other alternatives.

It really depends on where the scratches are, the kind of steel used and how deep they are. If your watch is a valuable vintage one, the question is if you want to wreck it by self-cleaning/polishing, or de-scratching it....😊

Scratches around/near the bezel can become an obessive visual issue for many collectors; metal bracelets always get scratched over and over again, (and they also scratch the computer/piano/table, etc.) which is one reason (besides more comfort) that I prefer good quality rubber straps.

For a scratch or so around the bezel the Bergeon will work, but be sure to tread very lightly with it or it will look ugly very quickly.
