I finally got a 116710…..back

I got a 116710LN in 2010 for 5000 USD. My first luxury watch. I let go it for 4200 in 2013. Now, after more than a decade, I got another 116710 Batman and I spent 13000. Should never let the first one go lol

Oh, bummer🥺 Looks great though!

With only 3,500 GMTs made per year and with 390,000 currently on the waitlist for them with Rolex you've done well even at $13k. These regularly go for $20k USD in my country (Australia). Do not let this one go!

Wow those are the actual numbers?! Do you have the source of this? Super curious about the other models.

It seems highly unlikely that Rolex produces only 3,500 GMT-Master II watches annually, considering the scale of their operations and the model's popularity. Rolex is known to manufacture over a million watches each year, and given the GMT-Master II's status as one of their flagship models, attributing such a small production number to it appears inaccurate. A brief review of available information online readily challenges the notion of such limited production, suggesting a much higher output that aligns more closely with the model's demand and Rolex's manufacturing capabilities.

No, don’t believe what he said. 3,500 is nowhere close to the actual number of GMT’s made by Rolex. 3,500 is laughable-that’s more like their Cellini production.

Nice article dude.

Thank you! I try my best! I don’t understand why somebody would make a comment regarding Rolex production numbers without doing a simple Google search to make sure they’re referencing the correct data. I did not have to look very hard to find that article. 😅

Always believe in good intention. Hah. Dudes been misinformed. 3500 pieces sounds unrealistically low for Rolex GMT models. But one thing is for sure , the demand is still higher than supplies. Some people wishfully believe it is the ADs strategic move to hide the inventory in order to jack up the prices. This is not fully correct either.

No, it was a 116710LN. Was still a steal.
