I obsessed about this watch in high school in the early 90s. My friend owned one and I thought it was much cooler than my two-tone Seiko Quartz chronograph. Well I found this one on WUS years ago, maybe like 8 or more years ago 🤔 and I restored it, took it apart, sand blasted the case, new battery and gasket, but I could never find a replacement bezel. Anyway I keep this watch because it was one of the first watches I considered a "grail" as a teenager.

That restoration looks really good. Did you get the sand blasting done, or were you able to do it yourself?

I owned sand blasting equipment for years. I use to do a lot of watches back in the day. It was messy and even with all the protective gear the fine glass would always find a way up my nose or in my eyes, so I eventually quit doing it and now point people to Duarte over at Northeast Watch Works.
I think Tag's summit or peak👍🏼
Genuinely I think this is far nicer looking than modern F1s
