It is not very often I see w watch review on YouTube and immediately want the watch being reviewed:

But there is something about the #chronograph #perpetual SPC251 from #seiko that I just love.
It fits incredibly well into my collecting ethos - that being, trying to get as much value in terms of specs for as little money as possible.
The chronograph perpetual is also my first purchase from #jomashop, and while I'm not affiliated with them in any way, I was pleasantly surprised at the value and speed of shipping.
When I originally thought I would pull the trigger they were out of stock and I promptly forgot about it until about three weeks later when my inbox got pinged and there it was, available. It was a snap buy, no thought going into it, and strangely no buyers remorse 30 mins later, so I knew I was onto a winner (looking at you SRPC95J #nemo 🐡... I still love you to!)
I'll be the first to admit, the dial has a lot going on and my advance towards middle age is not doing me any favours when it comes to trying to read the date.
It was the 22nd when I took this photo but without my glasses I'm lost. That said, the moon motif on the bottom of the chrono hand is a very cool bod to the moon as one of the oldest ways humans have told time.
While it maintains a standard 2 pusher chronograph set up, A button for start and stop, B button for lap and reset, the B button comes into its own, moving the chrono hand to indicate date, month, and in true perpetual style, how many years since the last leap year.
LY (Leap Year) +1, +2, and +3! And I do like the day indicator which switches to CHR when the chronograph is activated.
Don't ask me how to set the alarm, I've read the largest Seiko manual I have ever seen come with a watch, and I haven't quite figured it out yet. TBH, it wouldn't wake me up anyway, so no stress.
However, if you are looking for an interesting piece that genuinely sparks a bit of conversation, both with watch- and non-wstch- people alike, you can't go wrong here.

Now that's how a proper watch looks like! Beautiful dial, I love its complexity. I saw Jody's video, it does indeed seem like it's a tad difficult to set, but hey, once you're done you've got a little scientific instrument on your wrist. 😉 Enjoy your watch👍
#seiko #chronograph is rare find sir 😉 really like your review it's very detailed and good 💯
