I recently picked up a Seiko SSK001 in the hopes of doing this mod.  The plan was to use a spare SKX bezel and then swap them back and forth.  Well, the SKX bezel doesn't fit.  I could pull the stock insert but the SKX insert is a little small.  Hopefully the mod community will come up with something soon because this set up would be perfect for a daily beater.
