Why? I'm a knife fighting instructor. A 1.75 inch blade is so easy a to conceal and destroy someone with and it's legal in EVERY state. It's also much faster to pull on someone than a holstered handgun. As they teach you in every cpw class. Also bullet proof vests have a hard time with arrows, bolts, and knifes. Handguns are loud and should always be a backup weapon
I’m really happy to see that the oysterquartz has come to be appreciated. I own one (19018). I love the design, the movement and its level of accuracy. A bonus is that most either don’t realize it’s a Rolex or consider it a fake due to it seconds hand. I’ll take that. I’d rather it only be recognized by the cognoscenti.

Yes I love how accurate this is and how comfortable it fits
I think you misread my post. I suggest you re read what I said. This was the first production Rolex watch.... Smith's was the first production watch of any brand. But that isn't what I was talking about....
I love oysterquartz but I would be nervous to own one, they didn't make many of them and the parts availability isn't good from what I hear compared to their mechanical watches which I fully expect to be serviceable into the 2300s
I have the same problem with owning Bulova Accutron tbh :(

Nice watch. If I lived in a state where I couldn’t carry a gun I think I’d carry that
