Rolex Explorer / Cartier - pre-owned

Looking to source a watch for my son’s graduation. If I can afford it I’m thinking Rolex Explorer 36. Equally keen to grab a Cartier for my daughter’s graduation - something I’ll need to start saving for well in advance

Any advice / guidance on sourcing pre owned luxury watches in the UK?

I bought my Seamaster 300 and my Lady's Ballon Bleu both from eBay. Different sellers. Over a certain amount they are sent off to an independent company for verification of authenticity. I'm sure you are familiar with eBay's feedback system, so you can vet the sellers first "buy the seller" as they say.

I've made many purchases from that platform, those being the most valuable, and not had any problems.

Chrono 24 seems to be the best place to get an idea of prices. As always buy the seller and take all precautions the watch is legitimate.
